This Heart Party will pay special tribute to one of our spiritual mentors: trailblazing proto-disco party promoter David Mancuso, who held his first Love Saves the Day (LSD) party in an industrial loft on lower Broadway on Valentine’s Day in 1970. David’s inclusive, eclectic dance parties, which gathered people from all walks of New York life, united by the euphoria of amazing music, dance and human connection, showed how a dance party could be a work of art, inspiring the disco revolution, the movie Saturday Night Fever and a generation of loft parties.

David Mancuso divided his Love Saves the Day parties into three sections, which he called “Bardos,” after Timothy Leary’s three phases of an acid trip, itself inspired by theTibetan Book of the Dead. Our Heart Parties, too, are divided into three sections:
